Some Acoustic Emission applications require that the AE equipment be connected within hazardous gaseous areas where there is risk of ignition or explosion. By limiting the energy available for ignition through the use of low-power circuitry, AE equipment can operate safely in these conditions. Our line of Intrinsically Safe (IS) products is certified for use in these hazardous areas.
